Session Objectives

The aim of the session is that:

1. Every student completes the "My Pathway Planner" using resources like VTAC (use Course Search), Job Outlook, Morrisby testing to illustrate current career thinking and how it works with subject selection.

2. If appropriate students should work on their application to do a Unit 3/4 subject in year 11.

3. If you want to do an External VET, please email Mr Lawson at lawsonj@trinity.vic.edu.au to start the process.

How to complete "My Pathway Planner"

Use your experiences from Work Experience, the Morrisby Careers testing and your own thoughts about the career or career field you are thinking of pursuing. Use MyFuture or Job Outlook to work out what attributes and training are required for your career. For example, nursing – to be a registered nurse you much hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
