Important - Work Experience Deadline Dates. No extensions will be given.
April 3 - All paperwork deadline for Forms A-D
June 3 - All paperwork deadline for Forms E-H
By this stage, you should have completed the following:
1. Completed the Trinity Form sharing details of your Work Experience for me to check.
2. Completed Work Experience Arrangement Form (all sections except the principal part) - emailed to your LFL Teacher.
3. Completed Travel and Accommodation Form (this must be done regardless).
4. Completed Safe @ Work Certificates - both General and any relevant Industry modules. These must be saved to your drive and emailed to your LFL Teacher.

5. Completed any additional relevant forms or tests if your Work Experience is in a high-risk industry. This MUST be approved by the Head of Careers.
Note: It is your responsibility to check with your LFL teacher that all of these have been checked off.
If you have NOT secured a Work Experience Placement, you must speak with your LFL Teacher and email the Head of CareersUsing Morrisby to start a Career Plan.
Students have had the opportunity to look at their career profiles and look at career suggestions.
In this session, your goal is to utilize your research to produce a basic career plan.
In past lessons, students should have selected three careers they have some interest in. Students can add them to their career planner by using the "Favorite" button.
Your next steps:
- Go to the "Inside Story" tab and research current information around wages, employment etc.
- Students should look at the "Job outlook" website.
- Click the "Options at 16" tab on Morrisby to start thinking about subject selection and "Options at 18" to start thinking about tertiary study. A student's planner should look like this:
By the end of today's lesson, your goals are:
1. Make sure you have "favorited" three careers and be familiar with the duties, skills, wages to work in this career (5-10 minutes).
2. Start putting together VCE planner by using the "Options at 16" tab. All suggested subjects are hyperlinked, and students can read about them. (15-20minutes)
3. Use the "Options at 18+" tab to research further study options (5-10 minutes).
