Winter – Summer 1st Sport Dinner

Overview:
Instead of hosting separate end-of-season celebrations for each sport, the school has opted to consolidate these events into one unified dinner for all 1st teams. This allows the senior leadership team to attend a single sports function each season. However, this does not prevent individual sports from organising their own separate events to recognise the achievements of all players and teams, including the distribution of awards.

The dinner is not an awards ceremony, but rather a celebration of the senior students' sports season. It is hosted by the Trinity Captains of Sport, in collaboration with each sport's individual captain(s).

Eligibility:
The event is restricted to members of the 1st team squads competing in AGSV or similar competitions, contingent upon sufficient representation from each sport. Teams such as swimming, rowing, kayaking, and cross-country are limited to students in Years 11 and 12.

Attendance:
Students and their parents are invited to attend the dinner through Trinity Connect once squad lists have been obtained from each sport’s manager. Invitations will be sent out promptly after these lists are finalised, ensuring that all eligible participants and their families are given the opportunity to celebrate the season together.

Additional Notes:
While the dinner is a collective celebration, each individual sport may still choose to run its own separate functions to recognise team achievements, highlight individual performances, and present awards. This dinner is intended to be an inclusive and spirited event, bringing together the entire 1st team community to honour their hard work and commitment throughout the season.
