All students are expected to be involved in the school's sporting program. Trinity is one of nine AGSV schools who compete in Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, Basketball, Cross‑Country, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, and Volleyball. Due to the School’s affiliation with the AGSV, Trinity places priority on these AGSV sports. The majority of inter‑school sport is played on Saturday mornings. If a student is selected in a team, they are expected to play on Saturday mornings.

Additional information regarding the AGSV sporting program, including fixtures, calendars, results and venue maps can be viewed by clicking here.

Trinity also offers non-AGSV sports including rowing, cycling, fencing, futsal, archery, kayaking, rugby, golf, mixed martial arts, lawn bowls and touch football. These sports are offered as an alternative for boys not involved in AGSV sports.

One of the aims of our sporting program is to expose students to a wide variety of sports in their time at Trinity, and they therefore should not play the same sport in winter and summer. In addition, some sports have a finite number of participants, and thus it may be necessary for the Director of Sport to limit the number of students who are able to join that sport. The Headmaster, in consultation with the Director of Sport, only gives exemptions from sport in exceptional circumstances.

We encourage all students, no matter what their ability, to play sport for the school. For some sports such as tennis, hockey, and cricket, students are expected to provide their own equipment. If this is an issue for any family, the school may be able to assist.
